The Organizational Structure under Mark Zuckerberg Leadership

(CLICK on this Link for the Facebook's Organizational Structure)

In this Facebook’s organizational structure,
Mark Zuckerberg is at the top of the chain of command as he is the CEO, who holds the most power and authority. The primary roles of the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) are to be the head and lead the team and formulate organizational objectives. Mark Zuckberg holds the most responsibility becaused he is at the top of the hierarchy. Facebook’s organizational structure is an example of a narrow span of control, where there are fewer subordinates accountable to a manager. Taking a look at the organizational chart presented, it can be observed that Facebook Company has a flat organizational structure with fewer levels where each manager will have a narrow span of control. The process of removing levels from an organizational hierarchy can help in certain way to improve the business by reducing costs, improve speed of communication, reduce a firm’s costs and lead to more flexible working practices.
